One of the Peninsula’s Premier Fall
Festivals, the San Carlos Chamber of Commerce’s Art and Wine
Faire celebrated its 17th year
last year. The 2008 dates are Saturday & Sunday, October 11 & 12. The Faire covers both sides of San Carlos Avenue (between El Camino and
Walnut) and down Laurel Street from San Carlos
Avenue to Arroyo. If you are interested in exhibiting as an artist,
the Pacific Fine Arts webpage
has a downloadable application.

Artists
A wide selection (over 275) of high quality, hand-picked artists present their
beautiful work for Faire goers. Attendees always comment on the high
quality of the art and the diverse offerings. There will be a treasure trove of ceramics, pottery,
watercolor, oil paintings, photography, wood working and jewelry –
something for everyone!

Plus:
Italian Street Painting
For the third year, the Art & Wine Faire will feature Italian Street Painting artists who will create beautiful paintings on
the street. They can be found on San Carlos Avenue, near El Camino.
There is also an opportunity for children to buy a square and try
their hand at Street Painting. If you are interested in being one of
our street artists, please contact
Wendy at the
Chamber. |
